I would be happy to read any feedback or comments that you might have regarding this website. I’d be even happier to respond to any questions that you might have regarding the content of the tutorials, articles, blog posts, etc. within. I don’t really like to lay out rules, but I do have a few suggestions for you if you’re going to send me an e-mail or two with questions. I’ll do my very best to answer your question to the best of my ability and/or direct you to someone or a resource that can help you.

I love helping other people – being able to answer questions and teach other people is a really great joy and that is the whole purpose of this website. Please don’t feel like you’re bothering, annoying, pestering, bugging, or irritating me by sending me an e-mail. I make time in my schedule specifically for answering questions and responding to feedback. Asking questions will get you a lot farther in this art than sitting back in fear or worry.

I am not Storm from X-Men – so please don’t approach me like you need me to water your crops or something.  I’m just a girl who wants to help you, not some untouchable super-star looking down on the little people with no time to help. Please, oh please, do not tear yourself down or say things like “I know you’re just so busy and you don’t have time for my insignificant little question…” or “I know this is a stupid question” or “I’m probably just too dumb to get it…” STOP. I’m going to be all Storm in Uncanny X-men #170 when she fights Callisto. Okay, not really. But seriously – I don’t tolerate self negativity. And you probably don’t want me to make any more comic book references on this page, sooo….don’t hate on yourself when I’m around. (:  I mean, if you’re having a bad artist’s day and just need to vent to someone, I totally totally get it. Just don’t be too hard on yourself – I bet you’ve come a long way already.

I will probably link you to this.

I’d love to hear what you have to say, be it a pat on the back or some constructive criticism. I always try to reach out to my readers and ask them what they want to learn and hear more about – if there’s a topic you want me to cover or a question you think a lot of other people have, please feel free to share. If you want me to expound upon something or are confused by a statement I’ve made – ask me to explain it. If there’s something on that site that isn’t working correctly, totally mention it in a comment or a quick message. I would be so grateful to know what my readers want to see on this website!

Okay, I can’t guarantee a five paragraph essay response to everyone, but if you’ve sent me an e-mail asking me about black and white photography, nature, gear, or geeky stuff I love, chances are I’m going to turn into a chatter box. When I’m passionate about something I talk – quite a bit. But! – I do try to make sure that my responses are full of information and aren’t full of a lot of useless fluffy stuff – if you took the time to send me a question I am going to take the time to give you a response. It may take me a little longer to respond because I don’t want to just shoot of a generic message, but I will respond. Just be ready to read! Keep in mind I’m not the world’s leading expert on anything (unless you count whistling the Imperial March) – I might tell you what I’d do in a certain situation or give you my opinion on equipment, but your instinct, preferences and your experiences can also be worth more than you realize.
